Hitting

Hi All!
Very fortunate for the nice weekend. :)

FYI I think the Mariners need to actually get some better hitters, so yeah!

Here's another nice spring picture to end your weekend on. Hope you like it!

Focus

Hi All!
Well I managed to make it over the pass. Yay!

If the weather is anything like it was today I'm definitely going to try and get out and shoot.

Photography tip of the night is focus. Normally in most situations auto-focus does the trick. But if you are in a low light situation you may need to use Manual. In this case, find the main subject of your photo, then focus your shot around that. Once you have done that, you can pan over, up, or down to set your final shot. Note: Once in focus, do not move forward or backward, this will obviously cause your shot to move out of focus again. Which could be good if your going for the Bokeh effect.

Here's another flower to continue with this week's theme. Hope you like it!

Yellow

Hi All!
Hope everyone's day went well.
Although I'm inconsistent with my Photography tips, I welcome any of you reading this to give me suggestions or questions on certain techniques you would like to know more about. You may even catch me off guard and I might learn something too.

Well Photobucket isn't working tonight, so here is my back up picture. Hope you like it!

Camera Gear

Since I said I was going to go over my camera gear today, that is exactly what I'm going to do.

First off, I use a Canon Rebel XSi
My first lens is an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
My next lens, my telephoto lens (Hoping to get a better one, one of these days) is a Quantaray 70-300 w/macro
And my final lens is my nifty fifty, 50mm

So, that's what I have in my bag. There are a few other nic nacs that I use, but I will be sharing those when the specific technique comes up!

Today's photo is of some cool flowers I found at my school's greenhouse. Hope you like it!

Spring, where are you?

I nearly forgot to do my blog tonight. :-P
It's been a long day studying for and then taking my Econ exam, and then having to write a paper tonight. Tomorrow morning I need to finish preparing for a presentation, fun....

On a brighter note, I plan on taking time out this weekend to do some photography. I'm starting to feel artistically deprived.

For tonight's blog, I was planning on posting links to my tools of the trade, but considering that it is late, I will postpone that till tomorrow.

Tonight's photo is an old shot. It is of some nice spring Red Tulips, cause I'm really ready for spring to get here so I can update my flower shots.
